Llegó a Barquisimeto: TokyoElectric eleva su apuesta por el país al ampliar su red de distribución y venta de equipos electrónicos

It arrived in Barquisimeto: TokyoElectric raises its stake in the country by expanding its distribution and sales network for electronic equipment

In 2014, TokyoElectric began operations, an innovative business venture aimed at offering wholesalers and resellers high-quality electronic equipment at competitive prices, in order to conquer a rapidly growing market, despite the Venezuelan context.

After five years, TokyoElectric is the main distributor of electronic equipment for end consumers in the Caracas Metropolitan Area and is undergoing an expansion process that, according to the company's stated goals, will allow it to have 12 branches open by the end of 2022.

This goal represents a significant effort, because it means a 71% growth of the network in one year.

The foundation of TokyoElectric's business lies in import agreements with Asian companies, which allow direct imports of products manufactured in plants established in Shenzhen and Guangzhou, which are recognized international hubs for the production of electronic equipment.

All products the company offers for sale have quality certifications, and its goal is to expand its high-tech offerings, both in volume and variety, in line with the evolution of technological developments in computing, telecommunications, and electronic devices for both work and entertainment, in order to satisfy Venezuelan demand.

In the capital, the company is present in La California –in the Bazar Bolívar Tower, where the main headquarters is located–, Sabana Grande, and La Hoyada. It also has a presence in Guatire, Valencia, and Maracay.

However, TokyoElectric's operation has national reach, as it guarantees fast and secure delivery of merchandise throughout the country.

Our absolute commitment is to the country's development, which is why our business focuses on meeting the needs of micro-entrepreneurs and small business owners, who form the segment that generates the most jobs, at a time of great complexity,” says Philippe Goguikian, CEO of TokyoElectric.

TokyoElectric currently generates 60 direct jobs and more than 1,000 indirect jobs.

One of the initiatives developed by the company to multiply its growth is the creation of an affiliate seller network. “An affiliate seller is a person who sells our products and receives a commission for each completed sale without having invested anything, with real payments every 15 or 30 days,” as explained on the organization's website.

A complete catalog

Although the core of TokyoElectric's business proposal focuses on wholesale sales, products can be purchased retail in its stores. The catalog includes cell phones from various brands, including Nokia and Samsung; well-known tablet brands; and a wide variety of electronic devices, including wireless mice, VGA cables, HDMI cables, chargers, smartwatches, and a diverse range of accessories.

TokyoElectric is a company that demonstrates that Venezuela is a market with high growth potential, where it is possible to implement innovative and inclusive business models.
